BELGRADE – The national alliance for local economic development (NALED) has organized tonight the traditional September meeting of its members and partners, whereby they informed the public that NALED will continue to improve the business conditions in the future.

The new president of the Board, also the CEO of Apatin brewery, Vladimir Novakovic, attended the official reception in the King’s palace and said that NALED has initiated or directly organized a number of key reforms for improvement of business environment.

He expressed his belief that NALED and its 300 dedicated members and numerous partners will continue to win and stimulate dialogue between the country, economy and civil sector.

The Minister of Agriculture Branislav Nedimovic said that he is honoured by serving the team of NALED which shows its readiness and vision to change Serbia.

Ne stated that two things marked the day, Serbia got the opportunity to export wheat to Egypt after 30 years, and it got the permission to export apple to India.

The Chief of the USAID mission Michael de la Rossa congratulated Mr Novakovic, stating that the alliance contributed to improvement of business climate in Serbia.
